Hello All,
I have a problem I need help with. I manually assigned some exponents to myself through the website for LL testing. When I enter 1 exponent for each worker thread in the worktodo.txt file and then launch prime everything works fine and the results are reported to the website. When I add 2 or more exponents for each worker thread in the worktodo.txt file the Client unreserves the extra exponents and keeps one for each worker. Of course if I configure the client not to report results to the website everything works fine. How do I prevent the client for unreserving my exponents and just process what I put in worktodo.txt file and report the results to the website? Thanks. |

Prime95 sees that you have more than enough work (days worth), so it will unreserve the work. Here is the fix. Exit Prime95. Open the Prime.txt file. Add the following line: UnreserveDays=180 Save the file. Restart Prime95. You now can have ~6 months of work waiting. Suggestion, use a worktodo.add file to add exponents to your worktodo.txt. A couple additional questions: I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz How many LL test could I queue up for 6 months? 6 tests? What is the max value I could use for UnreserveDays? Is there a list of all the parameters and their detailed explanations that could be added to all the config files: prime.txt local.txt worktodo.txt as well as the parameters you could pass to mprime when it is run from terminal? I read the readme file with mprime but this did not have this info.. Thanks. |

I also read through some of the source code for the client and found that UnreserveDays defaults to 30 if no value is entered! |
