Hello all,
I have a quick question regarding the process of moving a LL test from one laptop to another. Specifically, I want to move a test from my 32 bit machine to my much faster 64 bit machine, and then move a test from the 64 bit machine to my 32 bit machine. What files should I copy-paste and will I encounter any errors? Additionally, is this generally not a good idea? Thanks. |

All you should need to copy is the save files for the tests (needless to say, stop the test first to make it save the latest info) and the worktodo lines, including the assignment IDs.
After you've moved them around, have them communicate with Primenet and make sure it doesn't say anything's wrong with those assignments. Also, obviously, check that each test resumes from where it left off. I'm pretty sure the save files are compatible between OSs (including Prime95 and mprime) and bit versions. |
