513*2^1318074-1 is Prime! (396783 digits, entrance rank 1662)

I had the worst luck leading up to this prime! I've tested 69809 candidates on G9000, and this is the only prime. I calculate that, just from the 58784 G9000 candidates that I have local logs on, I should have found about 4.67 primes. The odds of at least one prime was ~99.06%, but I was unlucky enough to reach that <1% chance before finding a prime. It was such an extreme drought that I actually ran Prime95 as a torture test a couple of times to make sure I wasn't missing them due to a fault of my own.
This is my first top-5k prime since 2011-04-20, mostly due to me doing other work (GIMPS, factoring, etc.) and partly due to the aforementioned bad luck.

That ends a huge drought for that entire drive. Congrats and sorry you had such back luck!

411*2^1318421-1 is Prime! (396887 digits, entrance rank 1664)

Sometimes lightning strikes twice. This was found just 534 candidates (of my own candidates, not the whole server) later, when 1 in 13106 candidates should be prime! That's a 4% chance of finding at least one prime.

It makes sense for these things to average out eventually.

That's a top5000 prime.
Do you have a top5000 registration or do you want Gary to register the primes for you?

I pointed him to the Top 5k instructions, and he's already submitted it, crediting "Inouye, PSieve, Srsieve, NPLB, LLR". From what I can tell, that's right and he's done.
