See http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=1326.
I guess bayanne is still working on the subranges not mentioned there.
Plenty of work.

I guess we may already break out the champagne for this particular task, and keep some more on ice for the next one...

For the next range, how fast an Athlon do I need in order to help out? And when do we start on it?

I was thinking that it might be a good idea to have a pool of people who are always working on trail factoring on the next range to be released before it is released so that it can be trail factored as deeply as possible. This would be different from LMH since this would only focus on the next 1/2 million range to be released.

Since Cheesehead pointed out the manual page could be used, I have submitted quite a few batches of off-primenet results using it, even with throttling. It goes twice as fast using two browser windows!
And making arbitrary unannounced changes to what had been working for a looong period of time is what caused me to quit doing LMH work.

I had done it for nearly two years taking the range 60-69m from 32 bits to 58 bits and part of it to 59 bits.

Way to go team - annoy the hell out of your long standing contributers! If there was a problem with certain people then block *their* access, not penalise everyone else.

The new status files show the operation has been finished sucessfully
Some statistics :
exponents checked : 11548 (2790 at 61bit + 8758 at 60 bit)
factors found : 319 (= 1893 P90 years in the status page)

Keep it up !

How ? Look here http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=2413
