Default Please post results as attachments from now on.

I got a message from Xyzzy concerning the results posting. Apparently, it would be very helpful to his Mersenne Forum database management if we would post our results files as attachments rather than regular posts. From what I gather, the forum software treats attachments differently, something to do with space constraints I think.

I think we should make this Sticky, as a favor to Xyzzy. Although someone else might express it better.

To simplify:

Posts are stored in the database, which is 70MB right now. Our database limit is 100MB but we are in negotiations to circumvent this limit.

Attachments are stored in the file system, and we have at least 1GB free there.

I made it clear in my post that the users have to send me their results via mail.

Attachments are fine, too, and they can be deleted after the fact.

We want whatever works best for you all.
