Why if one was predicting M-9billion would one predict a 2018 discovery date????

P.S. My prediction is still in the running. Please ignore my past 5 or 6 failures :)

not sure but if anyone wants to just copy the list with a little changing this script will let you make a vector of all the estimated exponents:

Code:
my(a=[]);for(x=1,57,if(type(eval(concat("%",Str(x))))=="t_INT" && eval(concat("%",Str(x)))>3000,a=concat(a,eval(concat("%",Str(x))))));select(r->r%4==1 || (r%4==3 && !isprime(2*r+1)),a)

I don't understand why these are particularly relevant. The goal isn't to guess the exact value, merely to be the closest one. If the exponent is ruled out all that shows is that your distance will be more than 0, but that was pretty likely in any case.

How do you know M-9billion won't be found in 2018? What are you some kinda expert?
