Default GDDR5 on desktop motherboards

This is not so much 'forecast' as 'we've already made several million of the blighters for Sony'. Assuming the memory controllers can deliver some perceptible fraction of it without melting (it's a 64-byte cache line every four cycles to each of four 2.7GHz cores), 176GB/second sounds distinctly useful for FFT and for linear algebra.
