how can I use GMP-ECM on Windows 7?

I take great interest in factorization ,
but I am unable to use Linux or Unix ,
is there anybody who can use GMP-ECM on Windows 7?
prime95 only can ECM number like k*b^n+c

Download a binary, open a command line prompt "cmd" program, and use it. If you don't know how you use a command line, you're out of luck- it's not a graphical-interface program.

Do not start with the self compiling stuff from the latest post #458 until you have tested GMP-ECM and know if you want to use it a lot.

Try one of the normal binaries from post #455 or earlier.

Please address your question about ECM in the ECM section, wherein your other question about it is answered -- you will find a link there for a "Win7" executable.

I think he can make prime95 factor any type of integer ,not only
k*b^n+c,I just give him some suggestion!
I hope I can factor any integer by prime95 one day !

I know English is not your native language, but "any integer", even one with 4096 bits?

but it is a little slow,so I want to

This should discussed in the factoring section of this forum!

ATH has a link for you for a win7 GMP-ECM binary which will find factors up to ~70 digits. For anything bigger you should look into Carl Pomerance's Quadratic Sieve and larger still NFS (number field sieve).

You might find Pari-GP quicker than Mathematica. What's more, it is Free and Open Source. It runs on Windoze 7.

There is no easy way of saying it. You need to learn Linux. Without it you will only go not far. (It is like saying "I like mountain climbing but I can only go where an asphalt road exists.")

There are plenty of software solutions to have Linux either as a dual boot, or in a VM, or a fairly good Linux emulation in Windows (like CygWin).
