This is a mistake, are you sure you don't want to re-think? We already studied this and there is a checkmate coming in about 6-7 moves, or you lose both your figures for free (and checkmate in about 15 moves after).

(we didn't want to edit the former post, it could be interpreted that we changed the move, anyhow, forget about it, it was just me waking up in the morning without my coffee... we only analyzed one continuation of this position, which resulted in the outcome I said. You still have few paths where you can evade for a while. But still... you can't get out of that corner anymore, without giving us some incentives, hehe)

While well-intentioned, I think this is not within the spirit of the game. No takebacks please, especially in a correspondence game. Everyone should just learn to own their decisions (mistakes and all), and live with the consequences.

Agreed!

(Though the Geckos don't need to learn to accept the consequences of our moves.)
