Here it is since it got lost a few pages back.

If there's some after holiday I'll grab some when I can babysit them.

I have been thinking about splitting the double and triple check threads into 2 separate ones each. One would be to manage the lists. A post at the top would keep the list and posts for additions and claiming exponents would be cleared once the list is updated. The other thread would be for discussion.

What do you all think?

I really think the server should be keeping track of the "interesting" exponents. I'd gladly check a box to take SDC/TC exponents instead of the lowest available. If I knew a little more about MSSQL, I'd volunteer to do it.

I wholeheartedly support any efforts made to better organise the forum and declutter threads like these. I might also suggest placing the double and triple checking threads in the same sub-forums.

If people would like more triple checks, I could gather some using the available tools. Whatever helps.

Since I've been manually curating the list of strategic double-checks, I suppose something I could do is periodically go through the available assignments and mark them with some sort of score of whether they'd be good SDC candidates, like a 0-10 scale.

For the triple-checks that are needed, it's pretty simple to generate the list but I'd probably want to tune that query so it's faster if we wanted to make that an option.

Back when I had more computing power, I got the triple-checks so caught up that I was actually starved for more of them. It was to the point where I'd have enough work for less than a day and then I'd check to see what other mismatches came in over night, and have to send some SDC work to those machines. (AirSquirrels helped me get the initial backlog into a manageable state...thanks for that!)

Now that I've been out of that for a while, the backlog has grown to around 1000 exponents that have mismatching work (and that's just LL... I haven't even bothered to look at PRP work since it's still uncommon).

If people are interested I can post a list of the exponents needing triple-checks, and if enough of you took part in it, the list would probably shrink back down to where we're tackling them fresh, as they come in. I think there are something like 650-700 unassigned and available, and the rest are currently assigned out.
