Our King can only advance to g4 when our Bishop is properly placed. If you go a ew moves deeper with Kh5 there may be an easier win, I haven't
checked it out fully yet.

Yes, you are right. And if our king comes forward, we then can change the rook for a figure and the pawn any time, and we will gave two free pawns, for which we either transform or get their other figure. They can't talk us out of winning this.

I will move Bc2 and wait for their move.

Ok, somehow expected. Now we can't advance at all with the king, and sooner or later we need to go back to g2...

Anything better than 45 g4 to avoid that? We are still ok, after 45...Bf4, the easiest way (however may not be the better) is to push the king and exchange the pawns. I still have to look into this. What do you think?

Haha, so at the end we move the king back to g2?
Trust the older guy next time!

Nevertheless, Bb3 seems an interesting move, I will look better to it.
Give me one or two more days.
And don't tell me that I caught the disease from cheesehead

ok, Bb3 seems to be a very good continuation.
We even can advance with the king lately tempting them to move their king far from the horse, in that case we can't beat the horse because of the Bg5+, and we lose the rook. This may be tempting for them, but we still can win there with two pawns against their bishop.

So I will play Bb3.

Well, a bit unexpected, but a very good move.
I think that now is the time to play Kg2 and return to the "normal", "classical" way of playing, centralizing the king, pushing the pawns, etc.
Cornering our king in the way we did it, and placing it in front of own pawns didn't have much sense, in my opinion. We played your version, they countered it very good with that horse, but we actually didn't waste moves, as our bishop and rook are very well placed now.

So, my move is Kg2.

Or... is it g4 better than Kg2? I think not.

I think Kg2 followed by g4 is the best, they can't beat the pawn (lose the horse) and if Bg5, then h4 instead of g4. We get out of there with (at worst) exchanging the rook for pawn and a figure, than we have 2 pawns free. If they play waiting move, we can still advance Kf3, quite a precious move for us. This looks for me much better than king on the side. What do you think?

Kg2 now works better now than before since Black is fully committed to the King-side with a misplaced Knight.

Yes, this sounds good.
Let's play it.
They are somehow out of (good) moves now...
