Color and gender?

This is just a sketch. The triangles at each point are the pure colors as defined by 0-255 settings in Photoshop. Peach, plum, taupe, eggplant, and so on are fashion names. Only the Primary and Secondary (or Additive and Subtractive) colors are named. Others are defined by numerical combinations. Note: this depiction leaves out K, or black, which really only has meaning in ink-based reproduction.

Besides the Space in use, there is also the question of Depth: how many bits used to record colors.

Granted: the skill to discern these gradations comes from years of practice. The point being that non-colorblind men should be able to discriminate between subtle shades as well as women. They just don't have the training or language to do so.

In sum: Yes. This is a Silly Picture!

That's tough. I've done two rows, but I've got to do other stuff right now. I am interested in how close I come to the correct order. Those are some very fine gradations.

I got a score of 3 (got some middle blue-greens out of order). I have a good monitor though.

I should have said (as Mark points out) I got a perfect score at home on a fantastic monitor last year (I think someone on this forum posted this originally), I miss 3 at work where the Dell touch screens just aren't up to snuff--or perhaps I'm getting old?
