Is it possible to delete a self-reported benchmark? (And, if yes, how?) The checkbox under http://www.mersenne.org/report_benchmarks/ implies this. But there is no submit button (for this form). An self-inserted submit button via Firebug didn't help either.
Why I want do to so? Wrong MHz reported although I did a manual communication in advance. Additionally, how/when is a reported benchmarks flagged as suspicious? |

Did you first log in with your PrimeNet user ID?
When you select "CPU Benchmarks" after logging in, you'll see a slightly different set of checkboxes (e.g., "Show only my benchmarks") than you see when you don't log in first. Then, when you click on the link for a particular CPU model (e.g., "AMD Athlon 64 FX-62 Dual Core"), you'll get a list of individual benchmark reported timings, with select boxes on each line. The three action options -- submit buttons -- at the bottom ("Mark selected benchmarks suspect", "Mark selected benchmarks valid", and "Set stock CPU speed") will be able to apply to the selected lines. 2. Go to benchmarks page 3. Locate your processor's line. Drill down. 4. Find the specific bad one. Flag it as suspect. That's the best I could do. Anyone else know a better way? |

Yes, I did login. I'll attach a screenshot. There are no buttons below the table.

Another screenshot featuring Firebug. You see the 2nd form with the delete checkbox but no submit button.
Probably it simply isn't implemented. I haven't yet found any old threads with regard to this topic. |

Me again. After the hint to select a CPU model I found this (see attachment). I deselected "Show only my benchmarks" and "Exclude uc/oc data". I will try later if this works. Never seen before.

"Set stock speed" only makes PrimeNet aware of the fact that benchmark speed != stock speed i.e. overclocked. The benchmark speed itsself is not affected. So there is still the open question: How to delete or modify an incorrect result? Advice appreciated. Maybe it's simply impossible.

I have submitted several benchmarks that need deleting.
Firstly there were those from my Dad's PC which was exhibiting thermal throttling, whilst desperately needing de-dusting inside, so the benchmarks were all out of whack. Secondly, and more seriously, on another machine I upgraded the Prime95 client to a later version but didn't do a manual communication before benchmarking, so the benchmark result was recorded as being for the older version of Prime95. This strikes me as a serious bug in either Prime95 or PrimeNet or both. M. |
