How to use Prime95 For benchmarking and torture testing only

Where can I download Prime95 light to test my hardware,
to bench it, but without any client/server capabilities and intention
to join GMIPS ???

I just want to enter a particular exponent manually, and test it, as well as speed of my machine...

Download the program as you would as if you were joining the project. Then run the install program. After the program has installed, it should give you a choice between joining GIMPS, or just torture testing. Obviously, you want the latter. As long as you never give the program a username and password, you will not contact primenet.
