Utah Husband Posts Video of Wife Stumped by MPH Math: Is He in the Dog House?

Quote:
If you're traveling 80 miles per hour, how long does it take you to go 80 miles?
That's the relatively simple math question Travis Chambers posed to wife Chelsea on a road trip from Logan, Utah, to Boise, Idaho, to visit her family while his camera was rolling.

I think the Utah woman is real. My first clue that it might be real is that it's A WOMAN FROM UTAH in the video. If you replace Utah with Arkansas, Alabama, or Louisiana, I'd come to the same conclusion. Oddly enough, I'd believe it for Washington D.C. as well, which is our nation's capitol.

OK, research project: Find out where, on road signs, the speed limit (usually posted in my area as just "Speed limit 45" (*&@%$!, it's 55 without the sign! - ) actually gets connected with the definition, spelled out, "Miles Per Hour".

Yes, it's commonly understood (at least in the Middle US). My bet is that you have to at least read a driver's manual....and that in some states, such as Utah, that may not even do the job.

I am still looking for pictures of the sign that I saw in Norway (near construction) that said (translated of course), 'Watch the Speed'.

Russia developing a gun that turns people into zombies (seriously)

Quote:
Russian President Vladmir Putin confirmed that his country is working on the creation of an electromagnetic gun that attacks its target's central nervous system, putting them in what we hope is a temporary, zombie-like state.
it's a few days ago since this came up.

Maryland offering $200 gift cards for dead snakehead fish

Quote:
To qualify for one of the $200 gift cards and an assortment of other prizes, all you have to do is upload a photo of yourself with a dead snakehead to the DNR's Angler's Log site. The only complicated part is actually capturing and killing one of the "fish from hell."
so basically someone could alter the photo yahoo has given and outside of checking for fakes get $200.
