Hello
I made 86,225,219 my username because I am fairly confident that is the exponent for Mersenne prime. I just want it recorded here, so when someone runs LL test and it is verified, I can say I found it first. I share a house with two others, we have one computer so running something for 10 days or 20 days is not feasible. If someone wants to take it on themselves that is great. Anyway it will be discovered in a few years and I’ll know I was right! Thanks |

Then they will be the founder of the prime. You've got nothing.
Try this sometimes: go to a plot of land and declare "I claim that I found it! One day someone will build a house here - and it will be mine!" See the analogy? What you can do - is post your guess here - https://mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=23892 |

M86225219 has already one LL test done in 2014, and we have no reason to believe that is wrong, so I could bet one of my Titans that the respective number is composite.

I tried to find a way not to have that posted, after I submitted it.
I realized my logic was flawed. I wasn’t trying to claim the discovery so much (though that would be a bonus) as trying to prove to myself that I could find an unknown prime. Sorry |

Probably a shared-utility-bill thing. But one could always throw in a little extra money to cover one's crunching-related e-usage.
