I'm not sure if this is a new issue, but it seems that composite P-1 factors no longer show up on the list of recently cleared exponents. For example, M40907401 was just found to have a factor that was broken into two smaller ones: http://mersenne.org/m40907401
However, neither appear on the recently cleared list: https://mersenne.org/report_recent_cleared Someone might want to look into this. |
