We have no idea why it is broken.
The web server is up and responding to requests but nothing is happening.  Edit: These updates were recently applied: 20180617: Upgrade from PHP 5.6 to PHP 7.1 20180623: Upgrade to Apache HTTP Server 2.4.34 |

If it is of any help, from here, the source code (CTRL+u) for index.php shows a single subdued numeral 1.
A page save of index.php copies the following to file: Code:

We have upgraded to the newest version.
The wiki is working but the math rendering engine is broken. We are not sure if anything else is broken. Perhaps you all can test various pages to see if you find anything weird? We have a copy of the old version and database in case this doesn't work out. Your help is greatly appreciated!
