Strange happenings recently

Xyzzy,

1) For several days, when I've tried to log out from this forum, the response looks normal, until and including the screen that gives me the choice between going back to where I was or going to forum index, at which point the upper right corner looks like it does after I'm logged out. But after that, no matter which go-back option I choose, or do anything else (including disconnecting one day then coming back the next), the next display from mersenneforum.org shows, at upper right, that I'm logged on even though I haven't tried to, and everything else, such as icons showing threads with new posts, also is consistent with my again being logged-in.

I haven't changed any browser (* sigh -- IE6 *) settings recently -- certainly not concerning cookies.

2) Starting a few minutes ago, posts from different threads show up on my screen as though they were all in the same thread.

Now, both of these seem back to normal.
