Default Off on holiday

I'm going on holiday (vacation if you're American) next week, and I probably won't have access to the forum. That means I won't be able to update any threads that could do with updating, especially the team sieve thread. So be extra-careful!

I'll be back in time for the weekend update, so I won't miss it. It's just the team sieves etc.

Over at the NPLB and CRUS forums we've found it quite valuable to have multiple moderators (even if only one is the 'head honcho' project leader), ensuring that if one goes on vacation, another can take over for him. You may want to consider such a backup moderator here. (Note: I'm not volunteering for such a job, just a suggestion. )

I would be willing to lend a helping hand.

I'll be going very shortly (leaving home in about 25 mins from now). My next chance to check here will probably be late on Friday.

And regarding 130396: I won't be able to do any more work this working week. The current C104 is in the VHL queue, and a factor could be found while I am on holiday. I'll only be able to find out late on Friday, and please don't factor any c70s or the like that appear. Leave them to me. I notice someone tried to extend little bits of my 230k sequences because they are so low in size. Thanks, but I would like to do the sequence work myself.

And regarding the mod issue: I'm not really sure what we should do, so I'll let you decide for yourselves. Please don't try to take over the project when I come back, though.

Regarding the moderator issue, I would second henryzz for a backup. Of course, you could just surprise some poor sap, err, I mean some unsuspecting soul....

Have fun on vacation (yes, I'm Amuricahn!)
