I've not yet checked all threads for k=17 limits and work done.
The n=4M from Thomas is the reliable value, Batalov didn't gave ever any results or n-limits he did on this k-value, that's why the Wiki contains the remark "Reservation and state not clear by now".
I suggest to start from n=4M to be sure.

If he dont give any results few years ago, I doubt he will do it now (especially after a great quarrel and accusation on forum)
On the other side, I do have some resources but test already ( probable) tested 33000 candidates is not my plan.

FWIW, the same information is described in that first post (the last line of the code box), though the date is only in the edit comment. I do agree that a separate post (preferably with residues attached) would be more beneficial.
