Any MISFIT feature requests for 2020?

Hi All,

I have some free time over the next few months if there are any request for MISFIT.

I know there have been some discussions for changes over the last year or two, but if those ideas are still valid please repost them here for me to look over...

Does Misfit work with a proxy? I am trying to set it up on a machine that is behind a great proxy wall. All traffic must go through it. I have Prime95 set up for it.

mfakto supports UID's in results lines. Misfit doesn't like them. Can that be fixed?

If Misfit is some how using the local copy of Prime95 to submit results, it worked. The results got through. Normally I have to set-up Prome95 to report to PrimeNet through a proxy.

Can you provide the current version # and download location for MISFIT?

I've also been provided with this link: https://www.mersenneforum.org/misfit/. However, The latest version number I've found here is 2.10.0 dated 2015-03-02.

Feature request: Possibility to handle P-1 assignments from GPU72/PrimeNet.
New cards (R7, etc) go through P-1 assignments quite fast, and getting them in bunch of hundreds is common. Currently I have like 600 of them (multiple cards), manual assignment. I guess is quite easy for Chris to automate this so Misfit gets them as a work type option, and then handling them locally "almost" works in the current version - there are some "small" issues when balancing work, i.e. Misfit would needs to know how to properly calculate the "real" GHzDays for P-1 for that, but except this, Misfit won't care the fact that worktodo is parsed by mfaktX or gpuOwl, the procedure works normally. I mean it works already in the current version, till the balance is needed. For a "production" version, the Owl may need a small tweak from Mihai too (related to semaphorizing the access to results and worktodo file) but mainly, the main issue is that Misfit should recognize the PFactor lines (as opposite to Factor lines) and properly handle their expected work time (GHzDays needed) for balancing purposes.
