Is there a web site where I can download all the Mersenne primes and print them with a maximum of printing options? I would like to create a book of all known Mersenne primes that can be updated when a new one is found. I would like the flexibility to use any size paper and font when creating this book.

btw, with times new roman at 12 pt, I fit around 3300 characters on a standard 8.5" x 11" page, so it'll take over 2700 pages just to print M43, and that file (43.txt) is 4.2 MB

For a much smaller download, use the mprint program (search the forums, I know there are links to it) and you can have any mersenne number you want.

If you program in Python, you can also look at DecInt.
http://home.comcast.net/~casevh/ It is designed for general purpose calculations with decimal formatted integers. With assistance from GMPY, it is about half the speed of mprint. |

The Ars Food Court link is a temporary one due to the demand for that file right now. The official link is on the wiki page. It gets forwarded as needed. |
