They'll be whining. It's what they do. Like repeating the Big Lie of the "stolen election" because they didn't like the outcome. Sometimes I think our soon-to-be ex-president's biggest legacy will be an entire generation of Americans - maybe two generations - that will think they can get anything they want just by throwing temper tantrums of they don't get their way. Assuming the Republic survives, that is...

Speaking of whining, Parler is suing Amazon for "breach of contract" and antitrust violations after Amazon suspended its web service for Parler.

Amazon's position is that it made Parler aware over weeks of its concerns over posts to Parler advocating violence, and suspended its web hosting for violation of its terms of service.

In the filing, Parler describes its service as a "conservative" microblogging alternative to Twitter, and its users as "conservative."

Describing advocates of rebellion or insurrection as "conservative" is first-degree murder of the English language. The criminals responsible should be executed.

Conservative media has done a good job of convincing Republicans that they are the victims. Government is taking away their guns, their churches, their money, their hate speech, etc. Blacks and other minorities are not victims because they get specialized treatment from the government with many of them getting government handouts. One would think that whites are subjected to systemic racism based upon conservative arguments.

Might as well dispense with the popular vote for president altogether, and just have the State Legislature choose presidential electors.

State legislatures chose US Senators (Article I, Section 3, paragraph 1, Constitution of the United States) until the Seventeenth Amendment was ratified in 1913.

EDIT: It gets better. The State Representative who introduced the bill, Rep. Shawnna Bolick, is married to state Supreme Court Justice Clint Bolick. The bill, HB 2720, Section 7 (D) would nullify court rules of procedure in election lawsuits, disallowing judges from granting motions to dismiss cases or for summary judgement until after the case has already been tried and gone to verdict.
