Unable to View Help Topics on Prime95

On four of my computers (all either version 24.13 or 24.14), whenever I try to open Help Topics in the Help menu, I get an error message saying "Failed to launch help".

I realize that this is not a very serious concern because the information is already available on www.mersenne.org, but I would like to point it out.

blank page........

I have no problem with http://www.mersenne.org

Perhaps corrupted cache files are causing the problem. More exotic causes could be a hijacked host file, a proxy fault...

I have the problem as well, but the help file is accessible through the file system. I do not know how the help file is launched in prime95 (and do not want to stick my head in the sources ;-)

Should be submitted to the owner and maintainer of the program.

If you open the help file from Explorer does go? What version is the help file? i.e. what is the latest p95 version number that it talks about?
How did you upgrade your program? Maybe you have an old help file and a new p95.

I am able to open Prime95 Help using Explorer in all four cases. However, in one case, the the latest What's New topic is highly distorted: The left margin has been cut off (parts of words are not displayed) and all the words are highlighted in light blue. The other articles do appear to display correctly though.

Using the What's New topic, I find that the version where the help topics do display correctly is 24.13 and the version where the latest What's New topic displays incorrect is 24.14.

I think I found the cause of the problem.

If Prime95 is started as a service it cannot find the the help file and one gets the "Failed to launch help." error.
If it is started from windows explorer or a command prompt there is no problem.
