Default New Computer (GIMPS)

I just recently purchased a new computer (because my current one is pretty old) I'm about 25% through Double checking two exponents. If I transfer all the files from one computer to the other, will the new computer resume where I left off, or will all my data be lost? (The test won't be done for a few weeks on this computer, and I'm getting rid of it in about 3 days)

from what I read before I believe it's down to the worktodo.txt file mostly.

Yes, it will keep the current progress if you copy all the files. I'd recommend not copying the local.txt, to make sure computer-specific settings aren't accidentally copied, such as the number of workers and speed of the computer (that might confuse things and not use your new computer optimally). The ones to be sure to copy are the worktodo.txt and save files (they begin with p, followed by some other letters and numbers, with no file extension).
