Default How to: send results back after using CUDALucas

I installed prime95, I have an account and downloaded work for several clients. I then downlaoded CUDALucas and ran it, it found the work already downloaded and started crunching, for days. It produced a file called result.txt (NOT Results.txt, nor results.txt, nor __Results.txt).

**HOW** do I get this result.txt back to GIMPS ?!

- Tried starting the prime95 client, which downloaded more work but did not upload the result.
- Ran CUDALucas, which started a new computation for a new number, but did not upload the result.
- Downloaded MISFIT, which asked a lot of questions, but did not upload the result.txt.
- I searched the forums and could not find the answer.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

First log in to PrimeNet.

Then go to Manual Results.

Finally, select your results.txt up top and upload it.

-OR-

Copy-paste its contents into the box at the bottom (make sure the last line has a line break) and submit that.

MISFIT does not have support for UID: in the results file. I am not even sure that is available in CuLu.ini, but that is a limitation of the results detection. So if you using UID try removing it to see if MISFITculu can perform the upload.
If not you can PM with your issues and I will assist you.

If it's 2.03 or previous, then it's "result.txt"; in 2.04+ it's "results.txt", but in either case the results need to be uploaded manually, as described in section 4 of the README (scroll down below the list of files to see the README).

PS swl551, I don't believe he's using MISFIT.

That is correct. I read in this post: http://www.mersenneforum.org/showpos...postcount=1695 that MISFIT could be used to automate the uploading. That is why I downloaded and installed it. I contacted flashjh by pm earlier because in one of his posts he offered support to those who could not get this to work, but received no reply. That is why I finally posted my question here.

I am now aware I'd have to submit it manually and know how, thanks !
