I'm waiting for some conservatives here to take the test. :-) |

I have done this test or a similar one before and am squarely in the green square.

I also think this test leads too much to the left (I took the French translated one). I consider myself more centrist (on the horizontal axis, the economic one) than this. But that doesn't look that wrong

Why would the test be leaning to the left ?
Because you think some questions are missing ? Or because you think your result should be more in the centre of the graph ? (Aren't we all in the centre of the correct opinions ? I end in the lower left square although my opinions are so moderate and rational ;-) Another view of this could be that the test puts the 0 0 opinion too much to the authoritarian right making almost everybody a "leftie" ? Like all tests one has a limited choice : but unlike tests which ask one to choose between two propositions and where I so often miss the "something other" or "the question does not reflect the problem" answer, this test permits a full range of answers, just missing the "no opinion" and "it depends" options and perhaps some other subjects. If anything the test takes some things for granted : nations, market, corporations, ... There is the question about land ownership though. |

EDIT: Forgot to say: Hidalgo is considered to the left in France, which is not the case here. https://www.politicalcompass.org/france2022 Last fiddled with by ldesnogu on 2022-05-23 at 09:57 |

I seem to be entirely typical of the MF population so far. |

(-4.63, -5.79). Just right of the middle of the green quadrant, though more left than I thought I would be.

Close to "Communists" with a capital C (the dictatorship of the proletariat, one party state, ...) or the socialist / communist ideal ? After all you answered questions about economy to get that result ;-)

I believe in innovation and free market, but under control of governments. I'm for capitalism but strongly against the financiarization of its working that perverted it. I'm also strongly against monopolies (GAFAM should be dismembered IMHO). |
