Not only have I not found a 5k sized gap in the current range, I didn't even find any of the first few missing ones (4239, 4266, 4289 etc.). (Though the number of output values looks okay, statistically.) Will this search meet the same fate for me as the prime gap search two years ago? If anyone is still interested in the status quo of the table, please let me know. I'll just go ahead and reserve
8e15 to 9e15 @ firejuggler (if you're still around): did you finish your search to 9.2e15?

Can anybody hear me? Come in, come in...
I get the feeling my range could need a bit of a doublecheck. Just a small sample to compare a couple of gaps.
It's kinda frustrating that above 7.2e15 and I'm almost 70% through [8e15, 9e15] , there were only two rather small 5000+ gaps (<5040), and still no sign of the smallest not yet found 4239. Am I expecting too much, perchance?

Attached are the latest results.
The range 9.2e15 upward is unexplored territory. I don't know whether or not firejuggler completed the range reserved in post # 123. Top 5 most wanted gaps: 4239, 4266, 4336, 4341, 4401. Last fiddled with by mart_r on 20200419 at 21:40

I'd like to include the six new maximal gaps we have found in the OEIS, but I'm not quite sure how to go about the references, credits etc. For example, should I give a link to this thread, or include "a(...) found by ..." in the extensions section?
There are five sequences related to twin prime gaps, most favorably all of them should include the new terms. I hope noone will get mad at me should I make five submissions in a row... Any advice on that, please?

Just add the new numbers in the OEIS sequences and submit. In the Extensions section, put something like "a(x)a(y) added by mart_r". They will not get mad at you for editing 5 sequences at once. You can do it!

Two 5000+ gaps already. Not bad.

Hey! Why are you reserving an infinite range? You should be generous and only reserve a finite range.
