Hi,
It would be useful to me (if not others) if you could indicate the LENGTH of the sieve lines among the statistics, as well as the factor base bound (or size of the factor base) Bob ![]() |

Sorry, Bob, it's not likely to happen. Although, on the surface, your request seems straight forward, in reality, it is not. We don't sieve just a simple rectangle. If I were to attempt to post all of the details, it would just lead to more confusion and even more questions. Rather than confuse the majority and place yet another load on our administrative resources, I will suggest that you simply read the parameter file that is transmitted for each subproject.
As familiar as you are with the NFS method, I'm sure that you will be able to recognize the parameters that you are requesting. However, there are a number of people who will be happy to assist you if you don't immediately recognize a particular item. |
