That´s great results!
Have you played with anything other than the FSB frequency?
Now all you have to do is upgrading the client to version 24.12 and you´ll get even better timings

This reminds me of how much I hate my Newcastle core. blah

Oh well, I guess I have good cooling but crappy processor for OCing. (hey, it was the best when I bought it w00t!)

3500+ Newcastle

And I actually bought a 2.66 GHz Northwood Pentium 4 just to run Prime95 on, and overclocked to 2.8 GHz using a stock Celeron heatsink w00t!

Use it for Trial Factoring. It smokes the P4s at that.
Using the 64-bit version of Prime95 for TF on that machine will give you excellent results, and TF is something that the project is definitely in need of.

the new benchmarks were meant for teh new version of Prime95, not that i overclocked it more.

You are right. I checked my benchmark results and noticed that my 2.2 GHz Athlon got about 5.5ms on the trial factors up to 61 bits, which is better than his 4 GHz Pentium 4! Thats pretty leet, but I want to stay on the Primality testing.

So I installed Windows XP Pro x64.... here are my factoring benchmarks: (Same CPU and speed)

Prime95 64-bit version 24.13
Best time for 58 bit trial factors: 3.476 ms.
Best time for 59 bit trial factors: 3.471 ms.
Best time for 60 bit trial factors: 3.685 ms.
Best time for 61 bit trial factors: 3.807 ms.
Best time for 62 bit trial factors: 4.508 ms.
Best time for 63 bit trial factors: 4.883 ms.
Best time for 64 bit trial factors: 6.244 ms.
Best time for 65 bit trial factors: 7.402 ms.
Best time for 66 bit trial factors: 7.358 ms.
Best time for 67 bit trial factors: 7.332 ms.

Congrats CADavis!!!!! thats amazing!!! i think i'm gonna upgrade to a dual-core in about a year or so and then we'll see who smokes who
