I'm wondering if there are any Paleocontact Theorists here (besides me)?

I suspect it's very few. It seems a pretty rational lot overall.

There are a trillion artifacts for which there is no other explanation other than outside interference.

Even omitting the manifestly absurd "a trillion," the statement "There are artifacts for which there is no other explanation other than outside interference" is practically a defining instance of "conclusory."

10 years ago, I defended your point of view frothing at the mouth.

[strokes beard] Ahh, yes, frothing at the mouth. An all-too-familiar story. Soon after, tragically, it just became too much for him...

Oh, dear. It seems that 2001: A Space Odyssey wasn't a documentary after all. And here I thought Also sprach Zarathustra being played at the Dawn of Man was the clincher...

Some facts about Nan Madol.

The structure consists of a huge number of very heavy blocks, each weighing from 5 to 20 tons.
The origin of some of them has been established - it is an island 50 km to the north.
The origin of the rest is possibly 2000 km away on another island. This is not entirely clear.
These blocks cannot be transported on boats and rafts used by locals.
To build the structure requires the labor of so many people, how many of them do not live and have never lived on the islands.
It will not work to fold this structure with hands, and to build a simple crane, builders need trees that do not grow there and have never grown.
According to legend, these blocks were carried through the air by two brothers (who came from the stars). Which, as it were, hints at a paleontact.

I have not seen it. Also sprach Zarathustra that I posted in Muzak thread is just coincidence.
