I cannot unreserve assignments from this range.
Actually, I cannot do anything from any range (regenerate worktodo, unassign, extend) Last fiddled with by KyleAskine on 2012-01-06 at 12:40 Reason: added second line |

Even if they are LL's we probably shouldn't TF these to 72. 71 would be fine. |

I could say with High confidence that they were exponent with no P-1 but with 1 LL done. Now to say all those new exponent are DC is another mater.

All exponents I reserved in the 42M range for TF are already LLed by curtisc and others.
Even worse, unassigning does not work ;-( Therefore, I let them expire and prove that I am not reliable. |

This will be fixed soon enough, Chalsall is just a bit busy right now with some family maters (Marriage). I'm sure it will be fixed in the coming week.

Sorry about that as well. I turned off the unassignment function while I extended the "View Assignments" page to have a "Regenerate" feature. The Unassign function has been re-enabled, and the Regenerate function completed. BTW, at the request of "flashjh" and "Mini-Geek", the regenerated WorkToDo is sorted by oldest assignments first, optionally spread across two, four or six workers. I'll implement the "Extend Assignment" function tomorrow. Now to go get dressed for the wedding.... ![]() |

@chalsall
Sorry for bothering you. I could read about the unassigning in the other thread ... Hope the wedding was fun ;-) |

Thanks. Could I also request something to the effect of a "select all" checkbox? It'd make it much easier when dealing with many reservations.

Hi guys.
I hope this is the right thread for my question. ;) After a longer break I´m back at GIMPS and looking for the best way to let my equipment run. I only have a C2D E8500 and a GTS 450 GPU and don´t know exactly how to setup these. At the moment I had 2 Firsttime LL on CPU and a DC with CUDALucas run on GPU for testing it. My goal is to help at the LL-front. If I had read correctlly, I should run TF on the GPU with mfaktc? But I think this needs one full core of the CPU. So this means, I should only use one core (workerthread) P95? And the other one to feed the GPU with mfaktc? Is ther something like a "guide" how to setup mfaktc to work best? I know, there are a lot of questions in these post, but I want to do my best for GIMPS. ;) Thanks in advance. |

I think you'll find many answers to the questions you pose in the GPU Computing sub-forum. The top two "Stickys" are FAQs for GPU based LL and TF work. |
