Help Us Keep Our Lead By Number of Found Primes
The "15k Search" project is currently leading "by number" of found primes reported to Top5000 but PIES, the project ranked second is just a few primes behind. You can follow the current status here.
Now, although we alredy have presieved candidates for two k's: k=210885 and k=2995125705 we are opening this page with smaller numbers where primes are more likely to appear. Please consider testing some of the files below. If you are already processing numbers mentioned above, lowweight, or k*2^n1, k<300 for k%15!=0 please consider switching to these smaller numbers for a week or so. If you find a prime please report it to Top5000 using your "15k" prover's code. The candidates for the first k=355424355 listed below have been kindly provided by lsoule. If you want to test one of the files please state so in a reply to this thread. Current status, k=355424355 Code:

I'll be taking 282to285.txt. Each candidate takes about 300 seconds to complete, so with 520 candidates it will be 156000 seconds ~ 2600 minutes ~ 44 hours of nonstop computing. I'll consider that as a small week for my part

Congrats to segmtfault who already found the first prime based on k=355424355
BTW, I'll be away on a short vacation for about 3 days without Internet connection, so please reserve the ranges based on messages in the thread, and take care not to run an alrady reserved range

xilman,
No problems! If you change your mind and decide to join us later you are welcome at any time. Happy hunting of whatever primes you select to search. Last fiddled with by Kosmaj on 20050818 at 02:22

All right guys, I'm back, and I just updated the status above. I see there were no new primes for this k, but thanks to new primes reported by lsoule, VBCurtis, and Templus we are still leading by 3 primes. Let's try to find a few more primes and keep our lead a little bit longer.
