So LLRnet now has 14 files? That's great. I'm just checking to make sure that there will be enough interest to process it all in a reasonable amount of time.

Well, as for whether there will be enough resources for LLRnet to reasonably be able to handle that many filesCarlos estimated 4 days, at the current rate, before the five files that we started out with were cleaned up. Thus, since optimally we want LLRnet to have enough work to keep it going for a week or two without a refill, I figured I'd grab about 10 files.

Within 34 hours I'll reserve the remaining files from 320K333.2K to LLRnet server. With the 24 hr rally I suspect we are going to test something like 50 000 k/n pairs.

The primes that are too small for top5000 would not be accepted. There would be no reason to report them there. What we're filling in is Karsten's awesome page for 300<k<2000 at www.rieselprime.org. By the end of 2009, the goal is to have all of the ranges searched for 300<k<=1001 show on the site as n=600K. In order for him to show that, there can be no ngaps in the ranges searched for any kvalue. Personally, with the way we're going, I think we can reach n=600K on all k's with no gaps by the end of 2008!! Now, I ask all of you...Wouldn't it be something if we could have all 300<k<=1001 searched to n=600K before RPS has all k<300 searched to n=600K for over double the # of k's and a project start date that was 23 years later?! That is a very real possibility! Gary
