You know that's not a prime number, right? 52 is composite, so 2^52-1 factors trivially, so your guess factors too.

I believe he does, as the prediction of the date is April 1st next year.

I think he's using base 21 with 3 and 7 as the primary factors instead of 2 and 5.

The least significant digit 5 immediately shows that composite.

52 = 2 x 2 x 13, so 252-1 must be composite, with factors 22-1 = 3 and 213-1 = 8191 among others. https://www.mersenneforum.org/showpo...13&postcount=4

4503 599627 370495 = 3 × 5 × 53 × 157 × 1613 × 2731 × 8191 (using https://www.alpertron.com.ar/ECM.HTM, no need for Maple, Mathematica, pari/GP, etc.)

so the corresponding Mn necessarily has factors 7, 31, 253-1, ... and so cannot be a prime. (Seven easily determined factors other than one or itself.) https://www.mersenneforum.org/showpo...13&postcount=4 again.

Log 4503 599627 370495 / log 1.47576 ~ 92.61, so if it had been prime, it would be a more likely candidate for exponent of ~Mp#92* than Mp#52*. (See #32 of https://www.mersenneforum.org/showpo...65&postcount=3)

To qualify as an April Fool joke it would need to be posted on an April 1. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...w/81820436.cms

That's some kind of record worst yet Mp#52* prediction. Please do not try to outdo that.

Indeed. It was in my spreadsheet, but did not get transcribed to the list. The failure occurred between the screen and the keyboard. It has been fixed in the list posted.

Thus rule 2 applies.

And the simple calc of how much bigger the current FTC milestone exponent is than M51's exponent is 28.61%
