I am in prime95 vor several years, but just now had to setup my system. Installing prime95 again I selectes "whatever makes sense" and was assigned for some Trial factoring. That's ok for me. But since I had to stop workers several times in the process I found out, that the job allway starts from 0% again.

Looks like some option disables storing the interim files. Could be read-write-execute rights of the OS, or something similar. Does not have anything to do with factoring itself. Why does your system get factoring? Shouldn't be unless it is a very old system.

You might have started Prime95 from a location where you do not have write access. Try to move the folder to the desktop or to the root of the c-drive: c:\ og the root of another hard disk.

You are absolutly right, I installed the job-files as Admin, but the exe as Non-Admin.
Sorry, could have solved that by myself. Thank you for reply. |
