Accessing FactorDB from Python

You are quite right about the sequence I was looking at. I am very impressed that you made this inference from the few examples I provided. I was aware of the relationship between the sequences involving the various Mersenne primes.

I was checking in the database before factoring with YAFU. The fact remains that I would more readily have become aware of the existing work if all the calls I made to the API had come back FF, as they should have.

By the way, I have now continued the aliquot sequence of 2^12*(2^13-1)*3 up to term 873.

You can do so programmatically by sending a request to http://factordb.com/report.php, e.g. with wget: https://github.com/ChristianBeer/ali...iqueit.cc#L959 or similar equivalent in Python.

If you format the lines like this:

30709053327793846479262011922043035332182892197212897495265091799173242928103623906872456410585582181646452028 = 2^2 * 3 * 251 * 3199577 * 7975637 * 1676443586342422756586051 * 884569733837982438707630744073761 * 269421652859394156112463829741634121

Then you can submit many lines in the same request.

OK, I have reported the factorizations for terms 863 to 877 of the aliquot sequence 2^12*(2^13-1)*3, and that sequence has been updated accordingly in the database.

After FactorDB Databese has been migrated to new server access via FactorDB python tool does not work.
Do anyone know who might be proper person to contact with for solving?

As far as I am able to test it gives Response '404'

Just because I'm bored at the moment, you are of course aware that 404 means the URI doesn't map to a response from the server. You might simply have the query incorrect.

Quite different than a 5xx.
