I only just realised this week that my results never included 0M-1M. Although that range has long since been double checked, it is now included in my stats. I have also included 25M. There are no exponents in there at the moment, but give it a couple of weeks(ish) and there will be.

Same as above, but each range is only 0.1M and only showing from 13M-16M. For example, 14.2 represents the range of 14.2M to 14.3M. The third column shows the change in the number of exponents compared to the last status files.

I am hoping that by the next set of data files we will have finished off the few remaining exponents in the 13-14M range. It won't be long until that range goes to primenet. I have also started to include up to 16M exponents in the 0.1M ranges. It won't be long until we start working on these exponents to I decided I may as well start storing the stats for them now.

Look at 13M, totally cleared out. Thats what I like to see. And just in time as well. It won't be long until some of the 13M exponents will be released to the server. We are also very close to clearing out 14M. Keep up the good work everyone.

I think that there is just one unclaimed set in the 14M range left now. I will now start to post ranges in the 15M range. It is good to see that we are starting to get ahead of the leading edge of double checking.

Thanks to everyone who helps out in mersenne-aries. Your work is really appreciated.

Status of p-1 using the 4th October status files.

The first column is the range. For example, 8 represents 8M to 9M. The second column is the number of (unverified) exponents that haven't been p-1 tested.

Code:
           M NUMBER
           0 0
           1 0
           2 0
           3 0
           4 0

          24 219
          25 82
Same as above, but each range is only 0.1M and only showing from 15M-18M. For example, 17.2 represents the range of 17.2M to 17.3M. The third column shows the change in the number of exponents compared to the last status files.

Code:

   17.8 102 ?
   17.9 97 ?
14M is now completely cleared out. 15M is almost there as well. We are progressing along nicely and are starting to develop quite a gap between the leading edge of doublechecking and ourselves.

Sorry that I have been quiet over the last month or so... I have been busy. This update of the status is already two weeks overdue. There should be a new set of status files any day now, and when there is I will update the status again. Also, when the new set of status files come out, I will update my site.

I have tried a new way of setting up blocks of work. Rather than just giving 100 sequential exponents, I have now broken them up into ranges. I think that this will make it easier for me to keep track of exponents, however if there is a down side that I haven't thought of, please let me know.

Wow... I can't believe that it has been over a month since my last update. I think that you all know how to read my stats now, however, if you don't just go up a couple of posts and it will explain how to read my stats.

I must appologise for my absence from the forum of late, i have been working on other things. Yes, for those that are wondering, there are other things than working on GIMPS... although not widely known about.

Status of p-1 using the 24th February status files

Code:
          M NUMBER
          0-13 0

I have changed the format slightly. There haven't been any p-1s that needed to be done up to 13M for months now so I have made that one big range for easier reading (as if it got any bigger you would have to start using the scroll within the code - and that is just messy).

I have also included everything up to 30M now. Although we haven't got up to that range on primenet (with the exception of the +10mil digits) but it will be interesting to see how it grows. To see if how people actually do the the p-1 and how many skip it.

Code:
0.1MRANGE NUMBER CHANGE

I have now included a "breakdown" view up to 20million as I have now all work below 20million is now available for claiming in the forum. It is also good to see that we are developing quite a lead on the leading edge of double checking. Everything up to 15mil is now on primenet.

Those 167 exponents in the 15mil range are being worked on, just incase anyone was wondering what was happenning with them.

Also, just incase anyone was wondering, sometimes the numbers of exponents that need to be p-1ed in the list above might be greater than the number in the corresponding block that I have posted in the forums. This is because I don't assign any exponent that it currently being worked on that was assigned through primenet (ie is currently in status.txt).

I know that it looks like not much p-1 work got done... however the manual forums are/were down, so the work just couldn't be checked in. I am sure that next week we will see a big jump seeing as though there will be effectively 2 weeks of work handed in.
