Yes, on AMD GPUs since 2017; very recently, also on NVIDIA GPUs via gpuowl also, thanks to preda and chengsun.

If an application is using a pseudorandom number generator to pick the shift, over the range 0...p-1, 0 is as likely a shift as any other value. One has to code extra to prevent use of 0 shift. https://www.codingunit.com/c-referen...-random-number

Edit: Those results with bad residue coming with one year interval, three times or more, with the same shift... Looks like a poor guy kept his results files for years and reported them again and again, for credit, or by mistake, without having any idea what's going on... This is somehow funny...
