Hi,
recently I've updated one machine (hardware, OS and GIMPS software). Prevoius version: "Linux64 v25.9" Updated version: "Linux64 v25.11" I've unpacked mprime2511-linux64.tar.gz into my prime working directory and started the client. When I login to the primenet website an go to "My Account" -> "CPUs" this machine has status "U" while I've expected status "T". This is my only system running this version and my only v25.x system which has not status "T". Is there anything wrong with Linux64 v25.11 or is it just a glitch on the website? Oliver |

It is my understanding that you need to connect to the server and submit results once or twice before you will be upgraded to 'trusted'. Note that my understanding may be wrong; you can try searching the forums for additional info.

Set the debug option so that HTTP lines are written to prime.log. Then send me the prime.log file after a few communication attempts.

Hi,
the problem went away when the mprime software connected to the primenet server automatically to sent new expected completion dates tonight. George: do you still want a debug log? (I didn't logged this with debug enabled but I can turn it on now if you think it is still usefull.) Oliver |

No need, the debug log won't be useful. I'l just chalk it up as another mystery bug. It also happened to a Windows user one month ago.

I thought that was normal behavior. Every (IIRC, but definitely most) Windows computer I add initially shows up as untrusted, but then becomes trusted. Never worried about it as it always resolved itself.
