Team Prime Rib site password?

Hey guys, when i try to load a page from the team prime rib website, i get a popup asking for a username and password, this never happened before and i have no idea why it does that. anyone with any info on this i would greatly appreciate it.

The site is having problems for everybody. No one here knows for sure what is going on, or if they do, is not able to fix it.

I am experiencing the same trouble ever since the operating system ? was changed a few months ago. At every post I go to make I am asked to login and give password. That is bad enough but sometimes one does not even get back to the same page and one has to re-write the entire post again
.As a result I am careful to copy every post in case of these frequent logins
I am subjected too.
I also noticed that at times all goes well until the Preview is clicked. Someone out there gets the post but for the poster he gets the notice 'Invalid thread'
Is there some type of cloak and dagger stuff introduced into the forum?
At times Having to struggle with re posting some one replies within minutes the attempt to post has been previewed. :surprised

The script has an error that leaves connections to the database server open permanently. Some part of the code that generates the stats needs to be fixed. The guy who does all that (Rob Reid) must be very busy right now, or on vacation, or something, because I am unable to reach him.

This thread is actually about the TPR server, not the mersenneforum server.

I have no idea why you have so much difficulty posting. I know it has been a problem for you for months. As far as I know, nobody else has these problems so there must be something wrong with your computer, or maybe it is set up wrong. Can you provide us with more info?

i know a little about php and closing the db connection isint very hard to do its one line i did it with something i wrote a while back
mysql_close($dbh);
dbh would be replaced with session name variable.
