a <= k < 10000
a=5 in RSP4M, should be a=3 in larger ones (?) |

http://home.comcast.net/~jimb_primegrid/rsp/ Can someone send me the k=5 from rsp4M_20130708.7z? I'm having a hard time downloading the 7z file. Last fiddled with by pinhodecarlos on 2013-07-09 at 22:33 |

For example for k=5 from 3980-3990 I got less 10 candidates to test but for 3950-3960 only one less candidate. From 3910-3950 number of candidates were equal. These shows me that for sieved file up to 4M it is already oversieved. They need a month to sieve 10P and 10 candidates can be done in less than 24 hours. PrimeGrid should now be concentrated on sieving the 5M and 6M files up to 400P. Last fiddled with by pinhodecarlos on 2013-08-20 at 12:32 |

![]() ![]() This is irrelevant data to decide what to sieve !! The sievefiles covers 5<k<10000 3M<n<6M Next sievefile covers 5<k<10000 6M<n<9M I will start 3<k<10000 9M<n<12M soon. I need to start that manually first with srsieve. k=3 is search to more then 10M thats why it is left out. Lennart Quote:
