Credit for discovering Mersenne prime?

Just hypotetical question.

If one is member of a team, and she/he discover Mersenne prime, who will get the credit for dicovery? Team or individual member? Is it possible to identify individual member of team that discover new Mersenne Prime? And if yes, how will she/he be identified? By "computer ID" field or by "name" field?

We had a discussion about this in the early days of TPR and I think George told us it would be the individual...
