Smile New server!

We have a new server for the forum... It is much cheaper and surprisingly, much more powerful...

Please "torture test" the forum over the next few days to see if anything breaks... I'm serious... Try to break stuff... The old server is still set up so if this doesn't work out we can revert back to that one...

If you find anything that needs fixed, please let me know here... All comments are appreciated...

The attachment issue should be fixed... Please try to download various attachments to make sure they work...

If you are a moderator and you get asked for a new password for certain screens send me a private message so we can get that fixed...

The search database has been tuned and rebuilt... Please let me know if you search for something and it doesn't work...

A new profile field called "PrimeNet UserID" has been added... This is an optional field... You can add your ID by visiting:

http://www.mersenneforum.org/profile.php?do=editprofile

The default page view per forum and thread has been increased... Let me know if this is a problem...

Everyone should have room for 100 messages in their private messages folder...

Joan Baez would ask:
"Where have all the avatars gone?"

(Or the flowers, it doesn´t really matter...)

I'm working on the avatar issue right now...

Edit: I think they are fixed now... You may have to refresh the page to see them...
