Are there any current team sieve going on with RPS. I have an old box want to add, too slow for LLR'ing.

Yes, we are currently team-sieving 16k's for the 1st drive. We are using ksieve, the multi-k version. Tell me (1) Do you have ksieve?, (2) If not is your machine running Windows, (3) What's the cpu (clock).

I sent you the link to ksieve in e-mail. We have two sieving projects, 16k's ("1st drive") and k=2995125705. Your P-II is a bit too slow, I'm afraid, for the first one as we'd like to sieve to 1.5 or 2T quickly, but for the second one we are not in hurry. If you agree to try k=299... plese visit http://www.mersenneforum.org/forumdisplay.php?f=59 you will find the command line to use there, I just updated it. Just execute the command. If you stop it and want to restart it, you will have manually to set -p to the new value, the one most recently printed out in the cmd window. If you have any questions please ask. |
