Definitely 16-small territory; but I think we could finish sieving it before it would get through the queue.

Perhaps a hybrid of local CADO and 16e-small would be fastest, take advantage of each in the region it is best at while not extending the queue too much. e.g. 80-180M locally, 180-end on f-small.

I’ll enqueue this with Yoyo, targeting 2x 19,900 curves @B1=260M, followed by 4x 12,000 curves @B1=850M as necessary. Will take more than a little time to complete.

Sean-
Just do a t60 at yoyo; we'll handle any portion of larger curves that we deem necessary. I'll have a few cores on 42e7+ for a week or more, for one.
Edit: Say, one of the 260M jobs and one of the 850M? That looks nice.

Well, I can do that. Will enqueue the 260M job sometime tomorrow.

The 260M job for AS 3366 is now with Yoyo. I’ll keep an eye on it - if no factor is found then on to the 850M job.

I've started another Colab experiment with 2560 curves @ 42e7. There's a real good chance it will never complete, but it's an experiment, so it will succeed whether it fails or not, and I'll probably know tonight whether I have any residues to run stage 2 against.

Running curves at 42e7 now. Taking into account Yoyo's work, how many should we run in total before moving to higher levels? 15k?

My usual play is to run about half a T-level before moving up. Left to my own devices and including yoyo's planned work, I would run 2-3k curves at 42e7, 3-4k at 65e7, and maybe 1000 at 12e8 once the 85e7 curves are running at yoyo.

I personally have 1000@42e7 and 1000@65e7 running right now.

In my opinion, Yoyo has about 75% of the total work we should do on its own, so we should do on the order of 1/3rd of the work yoyo is doing, or perhaps a bit more.

tl;dr version: A total of 1.7 to 2 T60's in total should be enough.

Thanks - I hadn't properly taken on board that Yoyo is running more than a full t60.
I've done 1900@42e7 so far, as well as 300@40e7 on some memory-limited machines. Switching most machines to higher B1s.

Twelve hours wasn't long enough for the Colab session to complete stage 1.
On the bright side, now I know.

And now a further 3500@40e7, 6700@65e7 and 3900@12e8.
In hindsight it might have been better for me to stick to 40/42e7 and for Yoyo to start at 85e7, but I expected Yoyo would have got going by now.
