Octal Temperature
It seems like when the Celsius scale reassembles to the Octal base, the precision decreases down, thus make it less like the Fahrenheit scale.

Another bullshit, trolling thread.
The °F to °C formula involves a 9/5, or, amplified by 2, that would mean 18/10, so, if you go to base 8, tha't 022/012. Where does 14/8 comes from? If you discard the float part as you like, of course you lose precision. You are wasting everybody's time. Next attempt will result in a week ban.
