A new ECM factor:
675353281583190606094335948707995673045348275372668260771 | 10^209 + 3^209

I have to check ~10 composites first before I find a factor with B1=11e7. So I guess the remaining 500 composites are thoroughly tested.

Could you elaborate please?

I'd like to have a reasonably accurate estimate of how much ECM work has been done in total so that the server can allocate close to optimal tasks.

The ECMnet server is still allocating B1=43M tasks, suitable for find factors around 50 digits, but only Jon Becker seems to be working on them. He's doing sterling work but it would be nice if others joined in.
Now down to 501 composites, folloing these results which have been submitted since the posting above.

I will be updating the ECMNET server with these results shortly. I'll also add the ECM work Yamoto has told me he's done independently.

(Added in edit: now done)

The 500 target must be achievable now!

Ha ha, didn't know, I am not a fan of "5 pages large emoticon", and never scroll that list so down. That doggie looks great, but is too big, I can't sign my messages with it Thanks anyhow, I will try to make some use of it...

We'll definitely hit 500 since 5^346+3^346 is almost complete. Delayed due to a power outage at work over the weekend at work, and the UPS died before the emergency generator was cranked up....

5^346+3^346 is complete and reported to Paul and the factoring database.

It was achieved well before the end of 2012.

There are now only 486 composites left in the table.

Unfortunately I've been unable to upload these results to the web pages because ftp.vispa.com is down. I've raised a ticket with the Hell Desk and hope it's resolved tomorrow.
