Group 17 done as is this sub-project.
Nice job all, especially Mark. That's a lot of work.

Are you interested in taking it on to n=25000?

A "back of the envelope" calculation yields about 50 GHz CPU years to do that work.

Not at the moment. I have a couple of big ones running. Maybe later this year.

I was being a little sarcastic there. It is too much work for my meager resources. Now if Lennart or Puzzle-Peter want to take it on...

I'm not sure about the primality testing, this might end up in a revived S63 Team drive. But I will start sieving n=10001 - 25000.

More power to you.

I think that the way to tackle getting S63 to n=25000 would be to break the sieving/PRPing into chunks of 1000 k. I guestimate about 26 weeks (after sieving) for a single core to get a range of 1000 k from n=10000 to n=25000. So if you have 30 cores, you should be able to complete all k up to n=25000 in about a year.

Please be sure and think this through before spending too many CPU resources on it. The files will be huge and difficult to pass around.

Now that R3 (or rather pfgw) doesn't work on most of my boxes due to an outdated OS I can go pretty much full blast on S67. I'll post a reservation in the appropriate thread.

Regarding PFGW, which OS and what is missing?

S67 or S63?

S63, thanks for catching that!

I'll have to take a look at the OS. Redhat Enterprise Linux, I'll get the exact data tomorrow.
